Wash & Care / Maintenance -The copper component of your product is finished in a clear coat of lacquer. Since copper is a pure metal, it is prone to oxidising on exposure to the atmosphere. The lacquer coat retards the natural oxidation process and helps retain the shop-sheen of the copper product. In time, however, your lacquered products will darken and the copper will begin to acquire a patina as it ages. To clean your lacquered decorative copper products wipe clean with a moist soft cloth. Never wash your lacquered copper products. To clean the wooden components of your product, wipe with a soft dry cloth. Never use detergents or cleaning solutions on the wooden components.
